Really odd movie, that is worth seeing for the unique tone/atmosphere established within the multitude of genres it explores. Adequate performances and mumblecore aesthetic which is fascinating considering how outlandish the narrative becomes during the last twenty minutes.
A little too typical in the end, and it's ambitions come off a little amateurish. But some very rich, dark moments abound.
