Review of Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004) by Martin O — 05 Jul 2012
After the magnificent first "Kill Bill" movie, I have xpected the second volume to fail. But it turned out to be just as great as volume 1, making a worthy completion to the first one. While the first movie focuses on the present, volume two has its eyes set on the past.
It is much more talky than the first one, but is still not boring. The striking use of music is just as great as in Volume 1, and the characters can give an even better performance. The great optical look is still present and the epic storyline gives goosebumps.
Overall, both volumes can be seen as one magnificent piece of art, one amazing movie.
