Review of Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004) by Nikola M — 29 Jul 2013
So the sequel is definitely not as good as the original, but a less action happens at the expense of getting everything resolved. That being said, I think Tarantino did a good and thrilling job tying up Kill Bill's loose ends with some consistently entertaining yet not as bloody fight sequences with some great and gritty writing throughout the whole film.
The second installment in Kill Bill has way more exposition, characterization and backstory to it, so I wouldn't go so far as to say it's better than the first, but still has a lot to offer if you enjoyed the first one as much as me.
