Review of Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004) by Leonardo S — 02 Aug 2017
Most of what's to be said joins what has been said of the first volume, but the second installment of the diptych closes it in a bit different manner than the first one opened it - adding it depth in terms of content, but being (although some moments are extraordinarily effective) slightly less dynamic at times.
On the whole, 'Kill Bill Volume 2' does just as well as its predecessor, having very sharp ideas added, more subtlety at many levels, less heavy action, and just as much style. Besides, Bill finally appears in it, and that's a pretty cool thing to do.
'Kill Bill 2' has to be watched after the first one, they form a whole and are dependant to one another.
