Review of KILD TV (2016) by Michael L — 18 Jun 2016
I saw this at a screening at Comicpalooza recently, and it was a very enjoyable 90 minutes. The film takes it's time to set up the characters and get going, but once the first murder is discovered, the pace accelerates.
I thought the effects were well done, and the accompanying music fitted the mood of the film well. The cast fitted their roles well, and I particularly enjoyed D.C. Douglas's Dr. Perseco. I didn't see the final 'hero twist' coming, which was a pleasant surprise, given so much cinema and TV these days tends to be fairly predictable.
