Review of Kidulthood (2006) by Lisa P — 27 Jul 2008

I wasn't sure how well this kind of story could be portrayed without getting too unrealistic but it worked for me, it was simultaneously uncomfortable and riveting to watch. I also liked the fact the parents were for the most part portrayed as being loving and responsible, as opposed to the perception of the good ol' Daily Mail scare-mongering lunacy.
