Review of Kids (2008) by Jason J — 05 Apr 2009
Great movie. although tamaki hiroshi has become too thin for my liking, so it kinda affected the way I look at his tough guy character 'cause he looked so scrawny. (but then again, the japanese are naturally thin people.).
Teppei Koike's role is quite different from when I first saw him in Love-Com, so this human drama is a good move.
I have to note though, that there's this one scene, where you have a wideshot of the whole highway, panning to the left with everything in slow mo. I guess they intended it to be artistic in some way, but somehow it came across funny to me. :P.
