Review of Kidnap (2017) by Ricardo Martín P — 10 Aug 2017
I thought she was great in this movie.... I am no critic, but it had me on the edge of my seat & I'm not sure why all the negative reviews here.... everyone in the theatre around me seemed to be on edge as well.
..??? I thought her performance was Oscar worthy... a ordinary woman thrown into extraordinary circumstances & she more than rises to the challenge.... I felt her urgency in not losing site of the vehicle that her son was in.
... and it was a logical thing that her phone was dropped out of her purse (and it was low on battery power anyway). The only thing I thought was off was her not screaming "I'm Sorry" to the many people hurt along the way.
.. I think she would have at least been mumbling it in the car.... I would have....
