Review of Key Largo (1948) by Ruth A — 08 Sep 2007
I watched this today for the first time in ages. Really excellent - the maturer chemistry between Bogie and Bacall, Edward G. Robinson as the mob leader is superb, but all power to Claire Trevor as the drunk ganster's moll abused by Rocko.
I like the tension of the action being in one place - it builds and builds because no-one can leave the hotel. Superb.
