Review of Key Largo (1948) by Brett B — 23 Mar 2012
A great collection of actors, sharp dialogue, and steady direction from John Huston. Bogart and Robinson are the clear focal points, but Bacall and Barrymore give them a run for their money. The stage-bound origins of this story can sometimes be felt bleeding through, but the quality of the presentation is so high that it doesn't have a negative impact.
