Review of Key Largo (1948) by Alison P — 28 Aug 2008
Bogey & Bacall's best work. This is one of those films that glances upon perfection, and with John Huston at the helm, and Edward G Robinson and Lionel Barrymore in epic supporting roles, this synergy magic could not have been better crafted in a test tube.
Scary, thrilling, and perfectly apropos when Florida has a hurricane on either side of its shores.
