Review of Key Largo (1948) by Craig C — 22 Sep 2014
Finally saw John Huston's 1948 noir masterpiece "Key Largo," with Bogey, Bacall, Edward G Robinson. And yes, that's Jay Silverheels (uncredited) as one of the doomed Indians. Trapped in a hotel with a bunch of gangsters not afraid to kill, it's non-stop suspense with a smoldering romantic undercurrent.
Essential.
