Review of Kelly's Heroes (1970) by Allen M — 27 Dec 2008
Starts slow, introducing characters and relationships, but grows with interest as the plot develops. Oddball (Donald Sutherland) steals the show with his "positive energy." Watching the movie for the first time, made me proud to own it.
The montage of clashing symbols and celebrating soldiers is enough to explain its classic status among wartime movies.
