Review of Keane (2004) by Paul Z — 17 May 2010
Relentlessly bleak. Seen as the mystery film at the Glasgow film festival, not something Iwould have sought out. Undoubtedly some fabulous acting, but grim, rambling, exploration of sanity, the soul, taboos.
Only if you want to impress someone with how artsy you are, and then I'd go for Beckett every time. Every time.
There is no enough drugs or booze in the world to make me watch this again.
