Review of Kangaroo Jack (2003) by Etan V — 18 Jun 2010
What hops, bops, and tops off all marsupials? If you guessed Kangaroo Jack, you are absolutely right. Although it was supposed to be a comic family ride, it was somehow a low ride with corny jokes, silly writing only fit for the kiddies, and a sore out story. C: So-So.
Plot: It all began a while ago when Charlie was 12 years old, the day he met Louis and when his mom met Sal Maggio, a nut up hard time mobster. But enough of that, lets go a little father ahead, when Charlie Carbone (Jerry O'Connell) and his confused and in need of help partner in crime Louis Booker (Anthony Anderson) is assigned a strict job to deliver a green worth of cash up to $50,000 all the way to Australia and hand it over to a in deal contract mobster. On the way to the destination, they came at an unfortunate yet utterly ironic time to panic when they accidentally ran over a cute kangaroo, now when posing pics with him, dead brain Booker puts the jacket on the so dead kangaroo and now hops away with it, now all they rely on is each other and the help of a beautiful American animal carer Jessie (Estella Warren).
Performance: I don't mind computer generated stars posing in front of the camera entertaining the kiddies but as soon as I see pathetic acting and sour jokes from real actors, then I start to get agitated and disappointed with the cast,.
And this movie definetly has that type of childs play.
Writing: Hmm, very sorely funny but not the jokes, what was funny about the writing was how poor it was written and how bad were the knocker lines.
Productions: If they try to make us love the CGI, their right, but if they think they want us to love the cast. thier wrong.
Finalize: It entertains little children but for adults, it was dead to us.
