Review of Kahaani (2012) by Robin N — 17 Jun 2012

Initially I wasn't sure whether to watch it or not. But after reading great reviews, I decided to have a look when it landed on TV screens. Half of the work is done by the script. A total Suspense-Thriller that lives upto its expectations to the very core. The other half is completed by an awesome city called Kolkatta and Bida Bakchi (as she has been called again and again).

Sujoy Ghosh uses the technique of guerrilla shooting into the deep alleys of Kolkatta. That is when the real charm of the city overpowers the spectator.

But ultimately the involvement a covert operation to catch a terrorist with the Intelligence Bureau sitting down his neck is what brings the cat and mouse chase to the forefront.

This one is a mustwatch, it'll keep you sit on that couch with popcorns in your hands. But the climax will blow your mind away!
