Review of Kagemusha (1980) by Mason L — 22 Dec 2007
Quite possibly the most epic film ever. Kagemusha takes the big budget power of Coppola and Lucas and backs godly director Akira Kurosawa in what I consider a front runner for the finest film ever made.
The art design is fantastic and the music haunting. The actors are top notch and accurately portray their real life historic counterparts, particularly Nobunaga and Tokugawa.
