Review of Kagemusha (1980) by Nicolas S — 03 Jul 2007
Again, some samurai fun. Kurosawa in color. The energy and youth of his earlier films is replaced by stateliness and formality, but this deconstruction of what is rotten beneath the gilded surface is astounding and very human.
The best of the master's later works.
