Review of Kaboom (2010) by Eric R — 14 Jun 2011
Gregg Araki returns to his roots in Kaboom, a crazy sexual fantasy with apocalyptic aspirations. The entire cast is great, the script is pretty much hilarious from start to finish as we follow Smith (Thomas Dekker) on this wild journey.
Like most of Araki's work its hard to quantify, you just have to sit back and enjoy the crazy ride. Its Araki's most personal film, his words not mine, as we are shown this world of sexual fantasy and mystery.
I don't know... Just watch it if you arent some douche who only likes linear narratives.
