Review of Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006) by Donovan D — 28 Sep 2007
An above average Hindi film by Bollywood auteur Karan Johar, KANK's exploration of an extramarital affair is clearly influenced by Woody Allen but Johar's sympathetic writing and flair for melodrama makes this a real winner, even if the ending is stretched out too long and some early scenes of slapstick are horrifying.
Kudos to the cast who certainly rise to the challenge, especially a career-best performance by Abhishek Bachchan.
