Review of Justice League: Gods and Monsters (2015) by Janice R — 19 Jul 2015
Coupled with some of the worst voice acting I've ever witnessed in DC's animated films, the out-of-left-field twist isn't enough to redeem the film's lack of relatable characters or familiarity.
With just over an hour, there is little to no time to feel for anyone but Kirk, while Hernan and Becca are just two "randoms" taking the names of iconic characters. On top of that, villainous Magnus falls short, as is usually the case with villains nowadays, in having a purpose that makes the audience sympathetic towards them, and more so just wants to be in control.
