Review of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) by Jim L — 23 Jun 2018
The follow up to Jurassic World (a film that I felt was 9/10, and should have had the Goldblum-cameo to begin with) -- Fun ride, sometimes annoying, pretty self aware, and just as fantastical as the first.
There should be some 'love' injected into this franchise even more than the first one did right. If you take the Pratt/Blue relationship from the first one, and make it just 25% more heartwarming, and make that grow with each sequel- there may have been better reviews.
Pratt sometimes seemed not to understand the story he was in during some key scenes. I don't need Star-Lord in every pratt film. But I did enjoy the film overall regardless of some of its head shaking moments.
Howard was wonderful as always- the new addition of the Female Dr was amazing & Stunning. 8.5/10 overall. JW1: 9/10.
