Review of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) by Tiberio S — 04 Jul 2018
It largely retreads familiar water, heavily recycling scenes from the previous films, and outright redoing the Owen/Claire story from the last movie, new kids in tow. Relative to the last film, Bayona's direction is crisper, more suspenseful, less campy, and overall more enjoyable.
With all the in-house pastiche, it's not a great experience, but it's hot fun in the summertime.
