Review of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018) by Phil S — 03 Aug 2018
After seeing the 54% audience score (I always ignore the critics because they are all too often out of touch), I was a little sceptical.
But after the first 40 minutes my heart was ready to explode from all the jumping that it was made to do.
This is a roller-coaster thrill ride that ranks up there with any of the previous movies.
Sure, you can pick holes in the story line but that would be missing the point.
This is not war and peace or citizen kane.
This is a fun ride that is delivered so well that on an entertainment level it even outdoes the original.
The next one will be very hard to do though because you now have a limited amount of dinosaurs in a nation of 400 million people, many with guns, so there can be no sudden dino vs people story line as that would be taking suspension of disbelief to a ridiculous level.
But I'm still eager for another one.
