Review of Jumper (2008) by Don S — 08 Jul 2011
Good premise outdone by the choppiness of the story. Characters are not introduced to a level you would expect, the nature of his power lends to multiple scene changes in a matter of seconds... it is all just a blur at times.
Too much too fast leads to the viewer being confused or lost, then the story never makes it up to you by making you care. Even the romance lacked warmth and nurturing. I love Diane Lane, but her role was so small she might as well not have been in it.
It was interesting to a point but not good enough in my opinion to warrant a sequel which it obviously was intended to produce.
