Review of Jumper (2008) by Kevin R — 30 Aug 2018
Utter disappointment, particularly given the director's previous work.
Horrid miscasting of the leads, especially Hayden Christensen and his nasal whiny voice and near-non-existent acting ability. This creates a serious problem when the objective is for the lead to be anti-heroic but nevertheless sympathetic (to a degree).
Also, there's a strong sense that the story, which may not have made that much sense to begin with, got butchered and chopped up as things went along.
