This film presents good questions.

What would happen if certain people had the ability to teleport anywhere in the world ? what would they do ? would they use this power to hurt others or simply for themselves ?

It's fascinating when you think about it and makes for a compelling villain in Samuel L Jackson who gets a wild grey wig hairdo in this 2007 action thriller .

I know Hayden Christensen isn't the most skilled actor in Hollywood but he was decent here for the material that was written. He plays David Rice an outcast who discovers these cool abilities and starts a new life minding his own until Samuel L Jackson shows up and shakes the party. All of the is amazing stuff until David goes back to see his teenage crush Millie played by Rachel Bilson who looks great but she's only here for eye candy and doesn't do much for the script. David literally meets her again in ten years and is like let's go to Rome and the next scene they get in Rome and start banging and it's cringy as hell and thats when the film starts going downhill.

Lucky for us Jaime Bell appears and it turns out surprise there's more of these lucky teleports but unlike Anakin who is a dumbass for most of it actually uses his abilities to kill the hunters.

To the film's credit there are really good action set pieces in this especially the Colosseum sequence and the jump fight between two characters . The special effects team really nailed it when it showed the jumpers teleporting never did I think it looked fake and that's tough since it was made in 2006 .These are the film's strongest spots when it jumps back to Millie it ruins it for me and what could have been a perfect solid action film.

I love Jumper and it's shame we'll never see Anakin return teleporting it was low-key dope.
