Review of Juliet of the Spirits (1965) by Vidal H — 14 Jul 2008
A dazzling, profound, colorful, energetic and spiritually intense masterpiece. It bothers me when people bash at Fellini for being 'self-indulgent' or whatnot. I'm obviously quite biased as a fanatically huge lover of Fellini's films as they usually leave me happy and satisfied after watching them, but self-indulgent or not, I say Fellini is an amazing film-maker.
Nobody could make such endearing characters as he could.
