Review of Juliet, Naked (2018) by Don L — 07 Sep 2018
Not since Four Weddings and a Funeral have I seen a romantic comedy as entertaining as this one. It's well written, well acted, well directed--and it shows life in the round. One of the things that makes it a truly adult comedy in the best sense of the phrase is that it's not only about romantic love.
It's also about work, and art, and it's very much about children; Tucker Crowe's child Jackson (again, a wonderfully acted part) is a source of as much amusement and as much warmth as are the adults.
