Streep was terrific, she WAS Julia Child. Still cannot figure out how they could drive a 1950 Buick on arrival in France when they actually went there in November ,1948. The film said 1949. Hey, that car had not been built yet.

The industry makes a lot of mistakes with old cars, look at Public Enemies. 1935 and 1936 models when Dillinger died in 1934.It isn't that hard to get it right.
