Review of Julia's Disappearance (2009) by Katha R — 06 Feb 2011
Absolutely wonderful comedy about a group of people coming to terms with ageing - I wouldn't say it makes you feel better about getting old/er but the oldest people in this film were certainly having the most fun!! Set in lovely Zurich but all spoken in High German (fantastic cast including Bruno Ganz, Corinna Harfouch and Stefan Kurt who played Adrian Weynfeld in "Der letzte Weynfeld") with funny, sometimes poignant but always realistic dialogue.
Screenplay is written by Martin Suter, so obviously I loved it! ;-).
