Review of Jules and Jim (1962) by Ojas V — 05 Jan 2008
A great film about love's boundaries, and staying true to bohemian ideals of free love, and beauty. Both Jules and Jim have and understanding of the free spirit that is Catherine, and this love triangle never becomes a petty battle of jealousy. Catherine is whimsical enough to love, even though she is one of the least loyal people in the world.
Truffaut's quick editing, beautiful landscapes, and snappy dialogue make this film about 3 people in love a classic not to be missed.
