Review of Jules and Jim (1962) by Phil S — 20 Aug 2008
The classic love triangle, but definitely not an ordinary one. The nationality of Jules and Jim differ making it a more dramatic experience. I sure wouldn't like to run into a woman like Catherine.
But I'm sure most people have met someone like her. A tragic end to this beautifully told story of two friends separated by a war and then brought back together only to converse in the same issues as before.
This film is sure to please Truffaut fans!
