Review of Jules and Jim (1962) by Mike Z — 10 Jan 2009
Francois truffaut need I say more, I think this man gave birth to the french new wave. alot of people have criticized this movie but I think its beautiful...the power of friendship between the three is so inspiring cuase she falls for julles the austrian, while jim is in love with her too but it does not breack up their friendship, not a very easy thing to do.
.. but yes along the way it does become awkaward I agree....i love when their racing on the bridge and she cheats...amazing, I tell you black and white pictures capsure so much more illusion and brightness to the film, for some reason its just makes you understand more about life as do international films percieve.
