Review of Jules and Jim (1962) by Jesse B — 12 Aug 2010
Francois Truffaut's artistically ingenious tale of two friends and the troubled woman which they both love. This doomed triangle is captured in one of the most alive and exuberant pieces of cinema ever dedicated to celluloid.
Truffaut has the craft and skill of Godard's behind the camera work, but more importantly, his nose for a good story is impeccable.
