I wish more thrillers were like this one. Joy Ride follows the basic thriller formula, but it actually excels. There are some truly tense moments and surprisingly solid acting, which is more than what I expected from such a film.

I've become very jaded of this genre recently, but Joy Ride shows how fun a thriller can be when actually executed the right way.
