Review of Joy Division (2006) by Andrew B — 13 Jul 2008
A good retrospective of Joy Division's rise and the band's almost unintentional meaningfulness. The band footage is excellent, I'm only upset that many are cut very short and they do not seem to exist on the DVD at all.
I just saw the fictional account of Ian Curitis' (lead singer/rock icon) life "Control" and I wish now that I had seen them in the opposite order. In any case, it made me dig out their records and marvel at how they fresh they still sounded.
