Review of Joy Division (2006) by Bradford G — 21 May 2009
Sobering documentary that traces Joy Division from start to finish - focussing mostly on the tragedy and charisma of lead singer Ian Curtis. Mostly talking heads of surviving members with live performance footage.
Sits well with "Control" and "24 Hour Party People". Almost 30 years on, the dance rock movement in the UK is all rooted here.
This review of Joy Division (2006) was written by Bradford G on 21 May 2009.
