Review of Jojo Rabbit (2019) by Scrocco — 02 Apr 2020
I loved this movie! Taika Waititi got a very heartwarming style and every piece of his filmography it's deep, yet funny, and always incredibly smart. The work done here reminded a lot La Vita è Bella (Life is Beautiful) by Roberto Benigni – both having innocence/kids protected thanks to sweet lies and phantasies against the inhumane dread of nazionalsocialism.
It is worth your view, and it's shameful to see so many bad reviews from criticts! Having directors like Waititi producing this kind of content it's just a blessing.
