While the majority of critics find Jojo Rabbit's comedy missing the mark, my only concern was the movie's humor felt to dishonest and safe around its subject matter. The story provided good reveals, but the visuals (highly influenced by another filmmaker "Wes Anderson") tended to distract me more then engage me.
