Review of Johnny Mnemonic (1995) by Jason C — 25 Jan 2011
Incredibly lame. You should have known that already, however - this stars Keanu Reeves, always a portent of a crap movie.
Plot is unnecessarily complex, while being unoriginal and predictable at the same time. What you end up with is a convoluted, meaningless mess.
Keanu does what he does best - impersonate a talking piece of wood. No character, no intelligence, just the feeling that he is simply reciting his lines. Primary school plays contain better acting.
Avoid at all costs.
