Review of Johnny Mnemonic (1995) by Mikhael E — 27 Aug 2008
I would have given this 8.5/10 - it is an excellent film an reminds me of how good films were before the current rush to make mainstream bucks prioritised over everything else.
Before The Matrix and others of the genre this was the first film to head down the eerie path of uncanny futures for us with the way technology is evolving.
Reeve's acting was curiously stiff (I didnt think so when I saw it way back when, so it must be in comparison now to other roles) but he still stole the show.
