Review of John Carter (2012) by Edd J — 26 Jun 2013

Let me start by saying this: the character John Carter is from the Barsoom book series. The Barsoom series is in fact, the patient zero for everything fantasy and science fiction related. Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Superman and every superhero inspired by Superman (every single one), all came from John Carter.

So why does this suck? Well, it's Disney. They have made this an overly complicated, long, blandly acted and reworked to ignore the fantasy elements that are a signature of John Carter's legendary status.

Does Disney care about all of this? Nope, they just spent an ass load of money hoping to make another franchise so they won't have to keep relying on Pixar. This movie sucking is actually a huge deal and I am so angry at this, I can't even summon any forgiveness.
