Review of John Carter (2012) by Joe C — 26 May 2013

Honestly I don't know why this got such bad ratings, and why people didn't like it so much. Sure the set-up might be a little "slow" for modern audiences, but honestly, that's a thing I really like about it.

It actually takes the time to set things up before diving into the action. This movie is absolutely epic--nearly as epic as the book it's based on, in fact (but of course, with very few exceptions, the book is always better than the movie).
