Nick Cage gives a very strong,yet subtle (for Nick Cage ) performance in "JOE" and this kid Tye Sheridan, last seen in "MUD", (he was very good in that one also)gives another strong showing too. Joe is a movie that takes us to a place very few people would want visit and introduces us to characters you would never want to meet unless it was in a movie or in a book.
But once you are there ,you cant help but to want to know more as the story unfolds. Gary Poulter delivers also as G-DAAWG .
