A very nicely portrayed love story, where Akbar (Hrithik) agrees to marry the Rajput princess Jodha (Aishwarya) to make new political alliances and to strengthen his power and clout. Hrithik and Aishwarya both did a fantastic job on the silver screen and would be rewarded by a phenomenal increase in fan base and repeat viewer ship of this movie.

Bollywood has come of age in movie making and proven themselves yet again that they can produce classics with a new flavour and still keep it gripping and entertaining for 4 hours.
