Review of Jindabyne (2006) by Btron V — 15 Oct 2007
Heavy. A bit long, and the final third of the movie is a loose; not as taut and powerful as the preceding parts. Great acting performances, and some powerful (and depressing) emotions on display - a few characters (like the little girl) are left just undeveloped, and you wonder why they are there.
Beautifully filmed. Some parts feel like Jeepers Creepers and Wolf Creek.
