Review of Jindabyne (2006) by Chris W — 21 Dec 2008
Good performances by Byrne and Linney, but unfortunately this film is bogged down due to ridiculously slow pacing and an inability to decide what type of movie it is. Is it family drama, a horror film of some sort, a portrait of racial problems in Australia, or something else? We never really know and there are plenty of plot holes to keep us from ever knowing and too many characters to keep track of.
