Review of Jesus Town, USA (2014) by Paul S — 23 Jan 2016
Loved it! Affectionate portrait of a small midwest town and a quirky slice involving the yearly local Passion Play that involves all the town's citizens. Good-natured and funny in a way reminiscent of Andy and his Mayberry friends but, somehow, amazingly it's all real, right here in Oklahoma.
Unfortunately, I think this movie will end the Pageant's magic since the event will likely now be overrun by snarky hipsters.
