Review of Jenny's Wedding (2015) by Danyella D — 08 Nov 2017

**spoiler: this movie was good but there were 2 story lines that made me go what ?! what I like is that one of the bride's family is/ was against gay people& their marriage. what I liked is that they slowly understood& accepted jenny& still talked to her even tho they didnt approve at first.

& the sister said she was hurt that jenny didnt come out to her. but she was supportive& woulda been supportive of her years before. but she got a big mouth. what I didnt like is who is kitty& whats her family like& her personality like? all we saw was that she wasnt supportive of her fiance& she didnt seem to like jenny's family.

but it showed jenny's fam liked her till jenny came out& at the end. like we know nothing bout kitty or her fam. they coulda atleast showed a scene of them hanging out it with kitty's fam& THEM BEING AT THE WEDDING.

I didnt like how jenny& kitty reacted with each other, there was no connection. the whole movie it seemed like jenny was gettin married to herself or to some stranger she met online& fell in love with& gonna marry& first meet in person at the wedding.

love is the story line of the whole movie, when it was supposed to be bout jenny& kitty& their wedding. but kitty wasnt there for jenny (besides one scene)& def wasnt supportive. just seemed like all she cared bout was herself, esp at thanksgiving when she said she didnt wanna go inside.

wtf. the movie is supposed to be bout love, but they couldnt even make her character lovable. what I liked mostest is that they showed the people who didnt approve of LGBT things, they slowly see that it was ok to be gay cause they were able to see it in a personal perspective.

that was dope how they did that. at the wedding they didnt even show the kiss part when they got married.. the movie shoulda been called jenny's family& her family. OH& the brother shoulda asked jenny if she was gay YEARS ago cause he said he had always knew bout her.

. that way she atleast had 1 fam member be there for her& for kitty& he could have stuck up for jenny infront of their fam throughout the whole movie. anyways, it was a very good& serious movie. anyone who is having a tough time with their loved ones coming out, or someone coming out to their loved ones should watch this.
